SETUP & RULES

HOW TO SET YOUR FLYBALL GAME UP

  1. Remove contents from the bags
  2. Choose a flat surface (or make one in the sand)
  3. With the runway facing up, slide the top of the runway into the groves of the bottom left side of the ramp until it reaches the top.
  4. Repeat on the other side
  5. Install the edge supports on each side of the runway for stability. The flat side of the edge supports should be on the top. Repeat until all 4 edge supports are installed.
  6. Use the target rings to measure the distance from the back of the runway. They should be set 3 ring lengths away (approximately 4').

HOW TO PLAY

Flyball is best played with 2 people. Each person selects their color balls (teal or peach)
Player 1 starts by standing at the start of the runway.
Player 1 rolls one of their 3 balls up the ramp with an underhand motion and attempts to make the ball fly off the ramp and land it into the target.
The target has 3 rings, corresponding to points. Players can score 3 points by landing their ball in the small ring, 2 points by landing their ball in the middle ring, or 1 point in the large ring. Players score 0 points for any ball that lands outside of the target ring, or bounces out of ring.
Player 1 throws all three balls and leaves them where they land.
Repeat with player 2.
When player 2 throws their last ball, points are counted.
Add up the points for player 1.
Add up the points for player 2.
Subtract the lower score from the higher score
Repeat until one of the players reaches 21 points
EXAMPLE
Player 1 scored 5 points (ball one: 3 points , ball two: 1 point, ball three: 1 point)
Player 2 scored 2 points (ball one: 0 points, ball two: 2 points, ball three: zero points)
Since player 1 had the high score of the round, subtract player 2s score of 2 from player 1s score of 5.
5-2=3 points
Player 1 is awarded 3 points for the round.
